Regular Season Round 47: Nagasaki - Kanazawa 106-74

B3 League top team - Nagasaki (34-3) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed fifteenth ranked Kanazawa (1-38) 106-74. Nagasaki made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Nagasaki outrebounded Kanazawa 53-26 including a 18-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American-Panamanian center Javier Carter (203-1991, college: USA, agency: Slash Sports) orchestrated the victory by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds (on 12-of-14 shooting from the field). American forward Matt Bonds (196-1995, college: St.Michael's, agency: Duran International) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Four Nagasaki players scored in double figures. Power forward Blake Aoki (202-1993) answered with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Daichi Tomioka (165-1995) added 12 points and 4 assists in the effort for Kanazawa. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Nagasaki have an impressive series of six victories in a row. Newly promoted Nagasaki maintains first place with 34-3 record. Kanazawa lost eighth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 38 lost games. Nagasaki are again looking forward to face bottom-ranked Kanazawa (#15) in Ishikawa in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Kanazawa will have a break next round.
