Regular Season Round 47: Yokohama EX - Shinagawa 85-80

No shocking result in a game when eleventh ranked Yokohama EX (12-26) beat 14th ranked Shinagawa (5-37) in Tokyo 85-80. Yokohama EX players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. It was a great evening for Canadian forward Mamadou Gueye (201-1993, college: Alberta) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 32 points and 10 rebounds. American Isaac Copeland (206-1995, college: Nebraska) helped adding 17 points and 14 rebounds. American center CJ Gettys (213-1994, college: Rutgers, agency: Haylett Sports) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 15 rebounds and 6 assists and guard Shogo Taira (170-1997) scored 24 points. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Yokohama EX maintains eleventh place with 12-26 record. Newly promoted Shinagawa keeps the fourteenth position with 37 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
