Champville did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 80-62 on Thursday. Champville dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Atlas' 30. They outrebounded Atlas 47-23 including a 19-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Champville looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Champville made 7 blocks. The winners were led by the former international forward Patrick Bou Abboud (199-1987) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 28 points, 13 rebounds, 9 assists and 5 blocks and the former international swingman Elias Rustom (197-1987) supported him with 19 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Four Champville players scored in double figures. Even 20 points and 8 rebounds by the former international guard Bassel Harfouch (193-1993, college: Alcorn St.) did not help to save the game for Atlas.
