Ginebra Kings topped NLEX RW to surge ahead in the series. Ginebra Kings outrebounded NLEX RW 50-38 including a 38-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. Brownlee is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Ginebra Kings players scored in double figures. At the losing side American forward Cameron Clark (201-1991, college: Oklahoma, agency: Slash Sports) responded with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 13 rebounds and point guard Kevin Alas (183-1991) scored 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
