Regular Season Round 45: Akita NH - Tochigi Brex 75-69

Very important is a road loss of third ranked Tochigi Brex (28-13) against fifth ranked Akita NH (24-15) on Wednesday night. Visiting Tochigi Brex was defeated by Akita NH in a tough game in Akita 69-75. American forward Jordan Glynn (200-1989, college: SF Austin) stepped up and scored 11 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and his fellow American import forward Alex Davis (206-1992, college: Fresno St.) chipped in 13 points and 5 rebounds. Four Akita NH players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American Chase Fieler (202-1992, college: FGCU) with 17 points and 6 rebounds and the former international swingman Makoto Hiejima (190-1990) scored 15 points. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Akita NH maintains fifth place with 24-15 record. Tochigi Brex at the other side keeps the third position with 13 games lost. Akita NH will play against Hokkaido L. (#9) in Saporro in the next round. Tochigi Brex will play at home against Shiga L-Stars (#10) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
