Regular Season Round 15: Prawira - Pelita Jaya 71-61

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Pelita Jaya (15-2) in Bandung on Monday night. Visitors were defeated by Prawira (14-3) 71-61. It was a key game for the top position in the league. It was a good game for American center Taj Spencer (200-1993, college: CBU) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 17 rebounds and 6 assists. The former international point guard Abraham Grahita (180-1995) contributed with 23 points and 4 steals for the winners. American forward Dior Lowhorn (201-1987, college: USF) answered with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 14 rebounds and point guard Reggie Mononimbar (185-1995) added 21 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Pelita Jaya. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Prawira have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. They used an opportunity after Satria Muda lost their game and moved up joining them at the top position which they share with defeated Pelita Jaya. Pelita Jaya at the other side still keeps top place with two games lost. Prawira is looking forward to face Bali Utd. (#7) in Denpasar in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Pelita Jaya's supporters also look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Jakarta Hangtuah.
