Not a big story in a game in Busan where 10th ranked Samsung Th. (9-38) was defeated by second ranked KT Sonicboom (30-15) 98-83 on Sunday. KT Sonicboom looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Hongseok Yang (199-1997) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 5 rebounds and the former international guard Hoon Heo (181-1995) who added 8 points and 9 assists during the contest. At the losing side forward Hyun-Ho Lee (192-1980) responded with 11 points and 6 assists and center Weon-Seok Lee (203-2000) scored 12 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. KT Sonicboom have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 30-15 record having ten points less than leader SK Knights. Samsung Th. lost seventh consecutive game. They stay dead last with 38 lost games. KT Sonicboom will meet league's leader SK Knights in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Samsung Th. will play against KoGas (#5) and hope to secure a win.
