Another exciting game was between seventh ranked Okayama and 4th ranked Iwate where host Okayama (22-11) won against Iwate (26-15) 87-78. Okayama players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. The game was dominated by American players. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Chris Olivier (202-1992, college: OK State, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording 29 points and 6 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field). Forward Jeffrey Parmer (203-1985, college: FAU) contributed with 7 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Kyle Richardson (200-1991, college: Portland St.) replied with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 17 rebounds and forward Terrance King (198-1990, college: ESU) added 15 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) in the effort for Iwate. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Okayama maintains seventh position with 22-11 record. Iwate lost third consecutive game.
