Important game to mention about took place in Al Jubaiha. Fourth ranked Al Jubaiha (4-10) saved a 2-point derby victory at home edging much higher ranked Orthodox (10-4) 92-90 on Friday evening. They outrebounded Orthodox 46-34 including 34 on the defensive glass. Al Jubaiha players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. The winners were led by American power forward Gregoryshon Magee (211-1990, college: USA) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 22 points and 16 rebounds and the former international Khaled Abuaboud (202-1997) supported him with 18 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Magee is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Even 26 points and 6 assists by international guard Amin Abuhawwas (190-1994, college: Mars Hill) did not help to save the game for Orthodox. International guard Malek Kanaan (182-1993, college: W.Valley JC) added 10 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists for lost side. Four Orthodox players scored in double figures. Orthodox's coach Samer Nino rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Al Jubaiha maintains fourth position with 4-10 record. Orthodox lost third consecutive game. They keep the second place with four games lost. They share the position with Al Ahli.
