Regular Season Round 39: Anyang KGC - DB Promy 93-84

Rather predictable result when fourth ranked Anyang KGC (25-17) defeated at home 6th ranked DB Promy (21-27) 93-84 on Thursday. Anyang KGC looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international center Sek-Eun Oh (200-1987) who scored 20 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. American Omari Spellman (207-1997, college: Villanova) chipped in 21 points and 6 rebounds. Five Anyang KGC players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international guard Woong Heo (183-1993) who recorded 26 points and 6 assists and international forward SangJae Kang (202-1994) added 16 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Anyang KGC have a solid series of four victories in a row. Defending champion maintains fourth place with 25-17 record. Loser DB Promy keeps the sixth position with 27 games lost. Anyang KGC will meet at home league's second-placed Mobis Phoebus in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. DB Promy will play against KoGas (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
