An interesting game for Taiyuan Textile (7-3) which played against 3rd placed Chunghwa Telecom (3-7). Second ranked Taiyuan Textile had an easy win 69-45. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Chunghwa Telecom. They outrebounded Chunghwa Telecom 44-27 including 31 on the defensive glass. Taiyuan Textile looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. International center Tieh Lin (182-1999) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 16 rebounds. The former international forward Ching Cho (172-1997) contributed with 15 points for the winners. The former international guard Hui-Ju Liu (163-1996) answered with 11 points and the former international power forward Hsiang-Ting Huang (180-1993) added 10 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Chunghwa Telecom. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Taiyuan Textile maintains second place with 7-3 record having just two points less than leader Cathay Life. Chunghwa Telecom at the other side keeps the third position with seven games lost. Taiyuan Textile are looking forward to face league's leader Cathay Life in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Chunghwa Telecom will play against Taipower and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
