Regular Season Round 7: Jeoutai - Pauian 88-70

No shocking result in a game when third ranked Jeoutai (7-9) defeated bottom-ranked Pauian (1-14) 88-70 on Sunday. Jeoutai forced 20 Pauian turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a great evening for Canadian-American swingman Nicholas Wiggins (198-1991, college: Z*Orangeville A's) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points and 6 rebounds. American power forward Jalen Robinson (206-1993, college: Dalton St.) helped adding 16 points and 6 rebounds. At the losing side American guard Dashaun Wiggins (188-1991, college: Portland St.) responded with 9 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Guang-Qian Jiang (184-1998) scored 17 points. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Jeoutai maintains third place with 7-9 record having nine points less than leader Taiwan Beer. Pauian lost eighth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 14 games lost. Jeoutai will meet Yulon Luxgen (#4) in the next round. Pauian will play against the league's second-placed Bank of Taiwan and hope to win that game.
