Second Stage Round 11: Mahram - Kerman 106-58
Date: March 12, 2022
The game between closely ranked teams ended with first ranked Mahram's (17-3) home victory over second-ranked Kerman (11-9) in Tehran 106-58 on Saturday. Mahram forced 19 Kerman turnovers. They shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 51.7 percentage. Mahram looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Kerman's players. It was an exceptional evening for American-Ukrainian point guard Jerome Randle (175-1987, college: California) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 assists. American DaJuan Summers (203-1988, college: Georgetown, agency: BIG) accounted for 20 points for the winning side. Four Mahram players scored in double figures. American guard Isaiah Williams (188-1995, college: Georgia St., agency: BIG) came up with 11 points and 4 assists and the former international center Asghar Kardoust (212-1986, agency: BIG) added 11 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Kerman in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Mahram. They maintain first place with 17-3 record, which they share with Gorgan. Loser Kerman keeps the second position with nine games lost. They share it with Parsa.
