Top ranked Taiwan Beer (15-2) recorded its second loss against second ranked Bank of Taiwan on Friday night. Bank of Taiwan were defeated by second ranked Bank of Taiwan (11-5) 80-70. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Taiwan Beer. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. Bank of Taiwan forced 25 Taiwan Beer turnovers. American swingman Zak Irvin (198-1994, college: Michigan) fired 18 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals for the winners. His fellow American import power forward Ishmael Lane (203-1997, college: NSU) chipped in 18 points and 7 rebounds.
