Regular Season Round 38: KoGas - SK Knights 86-97

KBL top team - SK Knights (36-10) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat eighth ranked KoGas (19-24) in Inchon 97-86. SK Knights players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. American power forward Leon Williams (203-1986, college: Ohio) had a double-double by scoring 15 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the former international Joon-Young Choi (200-1994) chipped in 15 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists during the contest. Forward Dae-Heon Lee (198-1992) responded with 18 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) and international guard Nakhyeon Kim (180-1995) scored 14 points and 6 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. KoGas' coach Yoo Hoon rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. SK Knights maintains first position with 36-10 record. KoGas at the other side dropped to the seventh place with 24 games lost. SK Knights will play against Goyang Orions (#5) in Daegu in the next round. KoGas will play at home against KCC Egis and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
