Regular Season Round 15: Blackwater Elite - Hotshots 101-100

The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Hotshots (9-2) in Caloocan City on Wednesday night. Visitors were edged by twelfth ranked Blackwater Elite (1-10) 101-100. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Hotshots. Blackwater Elite made 29-of-33 free shots (87.9 percent) during the game. 27 personal fouls committed by Hotshots helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for American forward Shawn Glover (201-1990, college: ORU, agency: Haylett Sports) who saved his team from a defeat with 33 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 7 assists (went 14 for 14 at the free throw line !!!). Rey Suerte (192-1994) contributed with 16 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American Mike Harris (198-1983, college: Rice) answered with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 17 rebounds and point guard Andy Barroca (176-1988) added 27 points and 4 assists in the effort for Hotshots. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Blackwater Elite maintains twelfth place with 1-10 record. Hotshots at the other side still keep top position with two games lost.
