There was no surprise when 8th ranked Tangerang (2-10) was crushed on the road by sixth ranked Bumi Borneo (3-8) 72-53 on Tuesday. American-Nigerian center Austin Mofunanya (198-1994, college: Pace, agency: SDJ Sports) stepped up and scored 20 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and American point guard Randy Bell (193-1998, college: Dalton St.) chipped in 13 points and 8 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American Richard Ross (198-1992, college: ODU) with 13 points and 8 rebounds and Danny Ray (181-1997) scored 10 points. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bumi Borneo moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Bima Perkasa. Tangerang lost their tenth game in a row. They keep the eighth position with ten games lost. Bumi Borneo will meet at home Indonesia P. (#7) in the next round. Tangerang will play against the league's second-placed Pelita Jaya and hope to secure a win.
