Regular Season Round 8: Hangtuah - Dewa United 68-66

Important game to mention about took place in Jakarta. Fifth ranked Hangtuah (7-5) saved a 2-point victory at home edging 4th ranked Dewa United (8-3) 68-66 on Monday evening. The winners were led by American center Anton Waters (200-1993, college: WKU) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds and Stefan Carsera (194-1991) supported him with 15 points and 6 rebounds. Even a double-double of 18 points and 10 rebounds by the former international forward Kaleb Gemilang (184-1991) did not help to save the game for Dewa United. American center Dishon Lowery (200-1998, college: OKBU) added 9 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the guests. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Despite that victory Hangtuah went down to sixth position due to points difference, which they share with Rans Pik. Dewa United at the other side dropped to the second place with three games lost. They share the position with Prawira. Hangtuah's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Jakarta to the arena NSH.
