Very important is a road loss of second ranked Mobis Phoebus (26-19) against ninth ranked KCC Egis (17-25) on Saturday night. Visiting Mobis Phoebus were defeated by KCC Egis in Jeonju 92-79. KCC Egis players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. It was a good game for the former international forward Ricardo Ratliffe (203-1989, college: Missouri) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 18 rebounds. The former international forward Jung-Hyun Lee (191-1987) contributed with 25 points for the winners. Four KCC Egis players scored in double figures. American point guard Rashon Thomas (183, college: TAMUK) replied with 21 points and 6 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and Myeong-jin Seo added 14 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Mobis Phoebus. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. KCC Egis maintains ninth position with 17-25 record. Mobis Phoebus at the other side keep the second place with 19 games lost. KCC Egis will play against bottom-ranked Samsung Th. (#10) in Seoul in the next round. Mobis Phoebus will play on the road against the league's leader SK Knights (#1) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
