We should mention about the upset which took place in Tokyo, where 6th ranked Okayama (20-11) lost to ninth ranked Tokyo HT (18-15) in a road game 89-95 on Friday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Okayama. 33 personal fouls committed by Okayama helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was point guard Yusaku Oshiro (180-1995) who scored 24 points. American power forward John Fields (205-1988, college: Tennessee, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 16 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Chris Olivier (202-1992, college: OK State, agency: Octagon Europe) who recorded a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Jeffrey Parmer (203-1985, college: FAU) added 11 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Five Tokyo HT and four Okayama players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Tokyo HT maintains ninth position with 18-15 record. Okayama at the other side dropped to the seventh place with 11 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
