Regular Season Round 39: San-en NP - Shiga L-Stars 100-104

Rather expected game in Hamamatsu where 11th ranked San-en NP (5-30) was defeated by ninth ranked Shiga L-Stars (10-21) 104-100 on Saturday. Shiga L-Stars made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was American power forward Sean OMara (208-1995, college: Xavier, agency: Inception Sports) who had a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!) and 19 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Novar Gadson (201-1989, college: Rider) chipped in 27 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was German center Elias Harris (203-1989, college: Gonzaga, agency: BeoBasket) who recorded 29 points and 7 rebounds and American forward Robert Carter (206-1994, college: Maryland) added 14 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 blocks respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Shiga L-Stars maintains ninth place with 10-21 record. Loser San-en NP keeps the eleventh position with 30 games lost. Shiga L-Stars will meet at home league's leader Ryukyu GK in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. San-en NP will play against the league's second-placed Alvark Tokyo (#2) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
