There was a minor upset in Doha where 7th ranked Al Khor (3-11) was defeated by ninth ranked Qatar Club (4-11) 74-60 on Saturday. American guard Aaron Parks (190-1994, college: CSUN) stepped up and scored 30 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists and 6 steals for the winners and Senegalese center Oumar Seck (208-1988) chipped in 19 points and 11 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Bosnian forward Milan Milosevic (204-1985) with a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 18 rebounds and American guard Jeff Newberry (188-1992, college: OK State) scored 11 points and 7 rebounds. Qatar Club moved-up to seventh place. Al Khor lost seventh consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth position with 11 games lost. They share it with Al Rayyan. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
