Important game to mention about took place in Doha. Fourth ranked Al Ahli (9-4) saved a 2-point victory at home edging 5th ranked Al Shamal (7-6) 70-68 in the fight for the fourth place. The winners were led by American forward Antwaine Wiggins (203-1988, college: Charleston, agency: BIG) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds and international forward Ndoye Seydou (205-1999) supported him with 15 points and 9 rebounds. Four Al Ahli players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 14 points and 15 rebounds by Serbian-Montenegrin forward Milko Bjelica (207-1984) did not help to save the game for Al Shamal. American point guard Willie Warren (193-1989, college: Oklahoma, agency: Interperformances) added 15 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists for the guests. Al Ahli maintains fourth position with 9-4 record. Al Shamal at the other side keeps the fifth place with six games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
