Leader Al Wakrah delivered the eleventh victory. This time they beat 7th ranked Al Khor (3-10) 83-79. It was a good game for American Julius Coles Jr (193-1989, college: Canisius) who led his team to a victory with 26 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. The other American import swingman Brandon Spearman (191-1991, college: Hawaii) contributed with 21 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Spearman is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Al Wakrah players scored in double figures. American guard Jeff Newberry (188-1992, college: OK State) replied with a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!), 11 rebounds and 7 assists and Bosnian forward Milan Milosevic (204-1985) added 21 points and 15 rebounds in the effort for Al Khor. Al Wakrah maintains first position with 11-3 record. Al Khor lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with ten games lost. They share the position with Qatar Club. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
