An exciting game was when Second ranked N.Taipei CTBC faced one of their biggest challengers TB Herobears. N.Taipei CTBC (10-5) smashed TB Herobears (8-6) 115-94. N.Taipei CTBC dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to TB Herobears' 46. They outrebounded TB Herobears 60-47 including 17 on the offensive glass. N.Taipei CTBC players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. It was a good game for the former international forward Mohammad Al Bachir (188-1998) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 29 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists. American forward Cleanthony Early (203-1991, college: Wichita St.) contributed with 31 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American power forward Diamond Stone (210-1997, college: Maryland) replied with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Ramon Galloway (190-1991, college: La Salle) added 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for TB Herobears. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. N.Taipei CTBC have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 10-5 record behind leader Kaohsiung A. TB Herobears at the other side keep the third place with six games lost. They share the position with Taichung Suns. N.Taipei CTBC will play against GhostHawks (#5) in Tainan in the next round. TB Herobears will play on the road against the league's leader Aquas in Kaohsiung and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
