Regular Season Round 35: Samsung Th. - KoGas 93-95

Tenth-ranked Samsung Th. (7-31) gave a tough game to eighth ranked KoGas (18-23) in Seoul on Tuesday. The visitors from Inchon managed to secure only two-point victory 95-93. However their fans expected easier game. The best player for the winners was Canadian Andrew Nicholson (206-1989, college: St.Bonaventure) who had a double-double by scoring 26 points and 13 rebounds. International guard Nakhyeon Kim (180-1995) chipped in 24 points and 8 assists. KoGas' coach Yoo Hoon used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American Thomas Robinson (208-1991, college: Kansas) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists and Dong-Ryang Kim (198-1987) added 18 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Four KoGas and five Samsung Th. players scored in double figures. KoGas maintains eighth place with 18-23 record. Samsung Th. lost their ninth game in a row. They stay dead last with 31 lost games. KoGas will meet higher ranked KT Sonicboom (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Samsung Th. will play against DB Promy (#7) in Wonju and hope to secure a win.
