Regular Season Round 35: Mobis Phoebus - SK Knights 70-76

The game between Top Four teams took place in Ulsan. Second-ranked host Mobis Phoebus (26-18) lost to first ranked SK Knights (32-8) 76-70. SK Knights outrebounded Mobis Phoebus 43-31 including 28 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for American center Jameel Warney (203-1994, college: Stony Brook) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international forward Youngjun An (195-1995) helped adding 17 points. American center Eric Buckner (208-1990, college: Georgia St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists and Myeong-jin Seo scored 16 points and 5 assists. Mobis Phoebus' coach Jae-Hak Yoo rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. SK Knights have an impressive series of fifteen victories in a row. They maintain first place with 32-8 record. Mobis Phoebus at the other side keep the second position with 18 games lost. SK Knights are looking forward to face LG Sakers (#6) in Changwon in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Mobis Phoebus will play on the road against KCC Egis (#9) in Jeonju and are hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
