Very expected game when 6th ranked Ehime OV (14-20) was defeated on the road by second ranked Fukushima (25-11) 85-78 on Friday. Fukushima made 24-of-30 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Fukushima made 7 blocks. The best player for the winners was Finnish-American power forward Erik Murphy (208-90, college: Florida) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line).
