Al Rayyan has finally registered their first victory this season after nine consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Al Khor (3-7) 93-79. Al Rayyan players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Al Khor's players. It was an exceptional evening for DR Congolese-Canadian guard Myck Kabongo (190-92, college: Texas) who led the winners with a triple-double by scoring 15 points, 14 rebounds and 11 assists. International center Meho Haracic (213-98) accounted for 17 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. Five Al Rayyan players scored in double figures. Bosnian forward Milan Milosevic (204-85) came up with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 15 rebounds and Ali Tawfiq added 21 points respectively for Al Khor in the defeat. Al Rayyan maintains ninth place with 1-9 record. It was Al Khor's third loss in a row. They keep the seventh position with seven games lost. They share it with Qatar Club. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
