The game in Changwon was also quite interesting. Fifth ranked Goyang Orions (19-19) played at the court of 8th ranked LG Sakers (17-23). Goyang Orions managed to secure a 7-point victory 71-64 on Tuesday. Strangely LG Sakers outrebounded Goyang Orions 49-35 including 20 on the offensive glass. Central African-American power forward James Mays (205-86, college: Clemson) stepped up and scored 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and international center Seung-Hyun Lee (201-92) chipped in 11 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was Egyptian center Assem Marei (206-92, college: MSU) with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Seung-Woo Lee (192-1) scored 6 points and 12 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Goyang Orions maintains fifth place with 19-19 record. Loser LG Sakers keep the eighth position with 23 games lost. Goyang Orions will meet KoGas (#7) in the next round. LG Sakers will play against Samsung Th. in Seoul and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
