Regular Season Round 36: Tokyo Z - FE Nagoya 48-86

B2 League top team - FE Nagoya (28-4) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed sixth ranked Tokyo Z (5-28) 86-48. They outrebounded Tokyo Z 47-31 including 16 on the offensive glass. FE Nagoya players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Tokyo Z's players. They brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. The winners were led by American forward Scootie Randall (198-90, college: Temple) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds and the other American import center Brian Qvale (208-88, college: Montana) supported him with 15 points and 8 rebounds. Five FE Nagoya players scored in double figures. FE Nagoya's coach Taizon Kawabe felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even a double-double of 17 points and 13 rebounds by power forward Yuto Yamanouchi (204-3) did not help to save the game for Tokyo Z. Point guard Kotaro Hisaoka (180-97) added 6 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. FE Nagoya have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 28-4 record. Tokyo Z lost ninth consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with 28 games lost. FE Nagoya will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Tokyo Z will play again at home against the league's leader FE Nagoya (#1) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
