Bottom-ranked Abha (0-20) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their 20th consecutive match to ninth ranked Al Ahly (8-12) 106-65. Al Ahly dominated down low during the game scoring 76 of its points in the paint compared to Abha's 38. They outrebounded Abha 41-25 including a 30-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Al Ahly players were unselfish on offense dishing 32 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Abha's players. The winners were led by American forward Jordan Washington (203-93, college: Iona, agency: Interperformances) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 26 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) and Canadian-Jordanian guard Freddy Ibrahim (190-96, college: Tampa) supported him with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists. Five Al Ahly players scored in double figures. Al Ahly's coach Krikorian Sarkis felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 23 points and 8 rebounds by Hesham Al Shareef did not help to save the game for Abha. Omran Fallatah (187-89) added 16 points and 5 rebounds for the guests. Al Ahly moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Al Salam. Newly promoted Abha still closes the standings.
