Regular Season Round 29: KoGas - KCC Egis 85-65

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 9th ranked KCC Egis' (13-22) road loss to eighth ranked KoGas (15-20) 65-85 on Sunday. KoGas dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to KCC Egis' 24. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international guard Kyungmin Doo (184-91) who scored 20 points and 6 assists. International guard Nakhyeon Kim (180-95) chipped in 22 points. Four KoGas players scored in double figures. The former international forward Ricardo Ratliffe (203-89, college: Missouri) produced 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Jiwan Kim (188-90) added 12 points respectively for the guests. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. KoGas maintains eighth place with 15-20 record. Loser KCC Egis keep the ninth position with 22 games lost. KoGas will meet higher ranked Mobis Phoebus (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. KCC Egis will play against LG Sakers (#6) in Changwon and hope to secure a win.
