Regular Season Round 32: Iwate - Aisin AW 66-74

The most important game in the last round took place in Iwate between third ranked Iwate (20-11) and eighth ranked Aisin AW (15-12) on Saturday night. Iwate was defeated by Aisin AW in a tough game at home 66-74. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Iwate. American players dominated the game. Forward Jordan Faison (201-94, college: CPP) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 31 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Marcus Dove (206-85, college: OK State) contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 25 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Aisin AW players scored in double figures. Kyle Richardson (200-91, college: Portland St.) replied with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 18 rebounds and power forward Alex Jones (206-87, college: Seattle) added 15 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Iwate. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Aisin AW maintains eighth position with 15-12 record. Iwate at the other side dropped to the fourth place with 11 games lost. Aisin AW will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Iwate will play again at home against Aisin AW (#8) and is hoping to win this game.
