Regular Season Round 32: Kyoto H. - San-en NP 88-83

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 10th ranked San-en NP (4-23) lost on the road to eleventh ranked Kyoto H. (5-23) 88-83 on Saturday. Kyoto H. looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. The winners were led by American forward Justin Harper (208-89, college: Richmond) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 14 rebounds and point guard Tatsuya Suzuki (169-91) supported him with 3 points and 14 assists. Even 20 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists by American forward Robert Carter (206-94, college: Maryland) did not help to save the game for San-en NP. Filipino guard Ferdinand Ravena (189-96) added 26 points and 8 rebounds for the guests. Kyoto H. moved-up to tenth place. San-en NP lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the eleventh position with 23 games lost. Kyoto H. will again meet at home San-en NP (#11) in the next round. San-en NP will have a break next round.
