Regular Season Round 6: Taiyuan T. - Taipower 75-56

Very significant was Taiyuan Textile's (#2, 5-1) victory against 3rd ranked Taipower (2-4) 75-56. They outrebounded Taipower 46-28 including a 16-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. International center Tieh Lin (182-99) had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 16 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international center Pei-Chen Tsai (186-84) chipped in 4 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Taiyuan Textile's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was center Zi-Yu Yang (180-95) with 14 points and 7 rebounds and the former international forward Yi-Tao Su (175-92) scored 4 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Taiyuan Textile (5-1) have an impressive five-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Cathay Life. Taipower at the other side keeps the third place with four games lost. Taiyuan Textile is again looking forward to face Taipower (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Taipower will have a break next round.
