The game between closely ranked teams ended with fourth ranked Anyang KGC's (20-13) home victory over 5th ranked Goyang Orions (17-18) 78-65. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Darryl Monroe (202-86, college: GMU) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international forward Seonggon Moon (193-93) who added 10 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four Anyang KGC players scored in double figures. At the losing side Central African-American power forward James Mays (205-86, college: Clemson) responded with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists and the former international forward Dae-Sung Lee (192-90, college: BYU-Hawaii) scored 25 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion maintains fourth position with 20-13 record. Goyang Orions at the other side keep the fifth place with 18 games lost. Anyang KGC will play against league's second-placed KT Sonicboom in Busan in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Goyang Orions will play at home against DB Promy and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
