Regular Season Round 5: Pauian - Yulon Luxgen 77-98

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 5th ranked Pauian's (1-10) loss to fourth ranked Yulon Luxgen (4-7) 77-98 on Saturday. Yulon Luxgen forced 19 Pauian turnovers and outrebounded them 34-20 including a 14-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. American power forward Torren Jones (206-94, college: William Penn) nailed a double-double by scoring 24 points, 11 rebounds and 5 blocks for the winning side and forward Ba Ban (203-97) accounted for 14 points and 6 rebounds. Four Yulon Luxgen players scored in double figures. American guard Dashaun Wiggins (188-91, college: Portland St.) came up with 16 points and 5 assists and forward Zhuang You (190-95) added 16 points respectively for Pauian in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Yulon Luxgen moved-up to third place, which they share with Jeoutai. Pauian lost their fourth game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with ten games lost. Yulon Luxgen will meet league's leader Taiwan Beer in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Pauian will play against the league's second-placed Bank of Taiwan (#2) and hope to win that game.
