The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Kagawa FA (21-9) on the court of fifth ranked Fukuoka R. on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by Fukuoka R. 99-87. They made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. Fukuoka R. looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Jamaican center Jerome Jordan (215-86, college: Tulsa, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points and 14 rebounds. American guard Stedmon Lemon (198-92, college: JCSU) contributed with 28 points and 5 assists for the winners. Australian center Angus Brandt (208-89, college: Oregon St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds and American guard Terrance Woodbury (201-87, college: Georgia) added 23 points and 5 assists in the effort for Kagawa FA. Four Fukuoka R. and five Kagawa FA players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Fukuoka R. maintains fifth place with 15-17 record. Kagawa FA at the other side still keeps top position with nine games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
