Regular Season Round 26: KoGas - DB Promy 102-87

DB Promy (#5) was upset in Inchon by eighth ranked KoGas 102-87. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of DB Promy. KoGas made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international guard Kyungmin Doo (184-91) who scored 20 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. International guard Nakhyeon Kim (180-95) chipped in 22 points and 6 assists. Four KoGas players scored in double figures. American power forward Johnny OBryant III (207-93, college: LSU) produced a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds and international forward SangJae Kang (202-94) added 13 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. KoGas maintains eighth position with 14-18 record. Loser DB Promy keeps the fifth place with 17 games lost. They share the position with Goyang Orions. KoGas will meet higher ranked Goyang Orions (#6) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. DB Promy will play against LG Sakers and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
