Regular Season Round 3: Taipower - Taiyuan T. 58-93

The most shocking disappointment of round 3 was a home defeat of Taipower (1-2) by Taiyuan Textile (2-1) who outscored them by 35 points 93-58. Taiyuan Textile looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Taipower's players. It was a great evening for international center Tieh Lin (182-99) who led her team to a victory scoring 19 points and 7 rebounds. The former international center Wen-Yu Lin (180-95) helped adding 14 points and 11 rebounds. Four Taiyuan Textile players scored in double figures. Taiyuan Textile's coach felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was forward Xin-Yu Lai (175-88) with 11 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international forward Yi-Tao Su (175-92) scored 9 points and 6 rebounds. Taiyuan Textile are looking forward to face Chunghwa Telecom (#4) in the next round. Taipower will play against Cathay Life and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
