An interesting game for Al Nasr (14-2) which played road game in Medina against 4th ranked Ohod (12-4). Second ranked Al Nasr managed to get a 11-point victory 86-75. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international guard Khalid Abdel-Gabar (188-90, college: Windsor) who helped to win the game recording 25 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists (on 12-of-14 shooting from the field) and American power forward Chris Johnson (210-85, college: LSU) who added 18 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side the former international forward Nassir Abojalas (196-94) responded with 23 points and 7 rebounds and American guard Shane Rector (188-94, college: Utah St.) scored 17 points and 5 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Al Nasr have an impressive five-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains second position with 14-2 record behind leader Al Hilal. Ohod at the other side keeps the fourth place with four games lost. Al Nasr will play against Al Ahly (#9) in Jeddah in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Ohod's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Medina to the arena Al Ansar.
