The game in Hitachinaka supposed to be quite interesting. Fourth ranked Toyota A. (15-1) played at the court of 8th ranked Hitachi Cougars (6-12). Toyota A. did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 87-67 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was the former international center Stephanie Mawuli (182-98) who scored 25 points and 8 rebounds. Senegalese center Sokhna Sylla (200-97) chipped in 18 points. Toyota A.'s coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. They keep the eighth position with 12 games lost. Toyota A. is looking forward to face league's second-placed Denso I. in Kariya in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Hitachi Cougars will play on the road against Haneda V. (#10) in Tokyo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
