Regular Season Round 4: Pauian - Taiwan Beer 71-86

There was no surprise when 5th ranked Pauian (1-7) was defeated by first ranked Taiwan Beer (8-1) 86-71 on Saturday. Taiwan Beer looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Doral Moore (216-97, college: Wake Forest) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds and the other American import guard Ramon Galloway (190-91, college: La Salle) who added 23 points and 7 assists during the contest. At the losing side American power forward C.J. Aiken (206-90, college: St.Joseph's) responded with 9 points and 13 rebounds and guard Deen Zhao (184-95) scored 16 points. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Taiwan Beer have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 8-1 record. Loser Pauian stay at the bottom place with seven games lost. Taiwan Beer will meet league's second-placed Bank of Taiwan in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Pauian will play again against the league's leader Taiwan Beer in Taipei and hope to win that game.
