Regular Season Round 24: KoGas - Mobis Phoebus 75-79

Everything went according to plan in Inchon where fourth ranked Mobis Phoebus (17-14) won against 7th ranked KoGas (13-17) 79-75 on Sunday. Mobis Phoebus made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Rashon Thomas (183, college: TAMUK) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 rebounds and Wooseok Lee who added 16 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was American center Cliff Alexander (203-95, college: Kansas) with 16 points and 9 rebounds and Gyeong-Gi Hong scored 19 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Five KoGas players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Mobis Phoebus maintains fourth position with 17-14 record. Loser KoGas dropped to the eighth place with 17 games lost. Mobis Phoebus will meet bottom-ranked Samsung Th. (#10) in the next round where they are favorite. KoGas will play against Anyang KGC and hope to secure a win.
