Very predictable result in Beijing where fifth ranked Sharks (11-3) outscored 11th ranked Royal Fighters (7-7) 102-83 on Sunday. Sharks dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Royal Fighters' 46. Sharks forced 32 Royal Fighters turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Sharks made 7 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Noah Vonleh (208-95, college: Indiana, agency: Pensack Sports) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points and 15 rebounds and the former international center Zhelin Wang (214-94) who added 20 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Four Sharks players scored in double figures. At the losing side American center Isaac Haas (219-95, college: Purdue) responded with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 14 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) and Zhang Fan (195-96) scored 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Sharks moved-up to third place, which they share with Guangdong ST and Guangsha L. Royal Fighters lost third consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with seven games lost. Sharks will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Royal Fighters will play against Jiangsu Dragons (#18) in Nanjing and hope to secure a win.
