Regular Season Round 24: Aomori W. - Saga B. 40-64

No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Saga B. (12-12) smashed on the road 7th ranked Aomori W. (2-22) 64-40 on Saturday. Saga B. forced 22 Aomori W. turnovers and outrebounded them 46-27 including a 20-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of British forward Myles Hesson (198-90) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds and Cuban guard Reynaldo Garcia (187-90) who added 18 points and 4 steals during the contest. The best for the losing side was guard Hayate Komasawa (188-98) with 11 points and 5 rebounds and Canadian center Renaldo Dixon (206-90, college: NM State) scored 12 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Saga B. have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 12-12 record. Aomori W. lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with 22 games lost. Saga B. will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Aomori W. will play again against Saga B. (#4) and hope to secure a win.
