Regular Season Round 19: Goyang Orions - Mobis Phoebus 98-95

Important game to mention about took place in Daegu. Fifth ranked Goyang Orions (12-12) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 6th ranked Mobis Phoebus (11-13) 98-95 in the game for the fifth place. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Murphy Holloway (201-90, college: Ole Miss) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 27 rebounds and 7 assists. The former international forward Dae-Sung Lee (192-90, college: BYU-Hawaii) accounted for 36 points (!!!) for the winning side. American point guard Rashon Thomas (183, college: TAMUK) came up with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists and Myeong-jin Seo added 13 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists respectively for Mobis Phoebus in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Goyang Orions maintains fifth place with 12-12 record. Mobis Phoebus at the other side keep the sixth position with 13 games lost. They share it with DB Promy. Goyang Orions will play against bottom-ranked Samsung Th. (#10) in Seoul in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Mobis Phoebus will play on the road against KoGas (#4) in Inchon and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
