Regular Season Round 18: KoGas - KT Sonicboom 69-72

Fourth-ranked KoGas (11-11) made lots of trouble for first ranked KT Sonicboom (16-6) in Inchon on Sunday. The visitors from Busan managed to secure only three-point victory 72-69. However their fans expected easier game. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of KoGas. They outrebounded KoGas 49-35 including 18 on the offensive glass. Haitian center Cady Lalanne (208-92, college: UMass, agency: BeoBasket) had a double-double by scoring 24 points, 23 rebounds and 6 blocks to lead the charge for the winners and international guard Hoon Heo (181-95) chipped in 19 points during the contest. Four KT Sonicboom players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American center Cliff Alexander (203-95, college: Kansas) with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 21 rebounds and international guard Nakhyeon Kim (180-95) scored 16 points. KoGas' coach Yoo Hoon rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. KT Sonicboom maintains first position with 16-6 record. Loser KoGas keep the fourth place with 11 games lost. KT Sonicboom will meet at home KCC Egis (#8) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. KoGas will have a break next round.
