Regular Season Round 22: Bambitious N. - Tokyo Z 77-81

There was a small surprise when sixth ranked Tokyo Z (4-19) won against their close opponent Bambitious N. (7-15) in Nara 81-77 on Saturday. Tokyo Z looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American-Haitian forward Marc-Eddy Norelia (203-93, college: FGCU, agency: Duran International) notched a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds to lead the effort and American forward Pat Andree (203-97, college: NC State) supported him with 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Tokyo Z players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 24 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists by American Greg Mangano (208-89, college: Yale) did not help to save the game for Bambitious N.. American-Nigerian center Chris Otule (211-90, college: Marquette) added 22 points and 6 rebounds for lost side. Tokyo Z maintains sixth position with 4-19 record. Loser Bambitious N. dropped to the seventh place with 15 games lost. Tokyo Z will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Bambitious N. will play again against Tokyo Z (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
